A must-have for artists, musicians and other independent business folk

Saturday night I sold CD's at my show. Usually, I accept only cash and maybe checks (but not usually), but Saturday night I was able to accept Credit/debit cards because of this genius little device called "Square".

I can't say enough about this little plug-in. It's easy to use, convenient and the percentage that "Square" takes is very small (2.75%). In the past I've used other methods, which take a long time and take more money."Square" is also green--no paper involved. The customers sign with their finger and you can either text or email their receipt. The only downside was that I had to swipe cards a few times before it would read, but overall it works pretty well.

I highly recommend "Square" for artists, musicians and independent business folk who want to sell their merchandise, but don't have those expensive credit card machines and don't want to have to mail in your receipts to get your money.
