It has been over a month since I last posted on my blog. My family and I have been getting into a rhythm with Sayida. She is now 3 months old and just as plump and playful as she wants to be. It is amazing how so quickly you adjust to a new presence in your life. It’s hard to imagine what life was like without them.
This time off has given me time to put energy into both supporting Sayida and in bringing parts of my vision into the world. I have been re-writing my e-book, The Urban Mamasong Mamafesto: 12 Motivating practices for mamas who want to live their creative dreams, designing an e-course and website based on the e-book, which will launch in June and developing workshops designed to support mamas in bringing their dreams to light. I am very excited about this and hope that you will come along for this exciting journey.
Another bit of exciting news-- instead of performing at the Mamapalooza Festival (as I had thought), I will performing and presenting at the M.O.M. Conference on May 25 at the Marymount Manhattan College. I will record a snippet from the presentation and upload it later this month.
